Susanne Haseman, MEd, LCMHP, CEIP-MH

Susanne is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor, and a Certified Equine Interaction Professional in Mental Health.

She has been providing counseling and animal assisted therapy services for over 18 years.

She is trained and provides EMDR and Brain Spotting to people with trauma and grief experiences. Sometimes we do these on horseback!

She is a Path International Advanced Certified Therapeutic Riding Instructor and CTRI. She taught therapeutic riding instructors and mental health professionals at First Light Farm and at the Horse Power Instructor Training School, and offers workshops on Animal Assisted Therapy and Education (HNoH). She also teaches the Equine Specialist in Mental Health and Learning workshop, PATH International’s workshops for horse professionals who want to work with equine assisted educators or therapists.

She has served on the Certifying Board of Equine Interaction Professionals (CBEIP), and was on the Board of Directors for the Equine Facilitated Mental  Health Association for 6 years.

She also hates pictures of herself and would much rather show you pictures of some of the horses, dogs and cats who are on the staff!
